    Our History

    Our History

On 12 June 2012 Inclusive Financial Services (Private) Limited opened its doors to the public. This marked the entrance of a formidable player in Zimbabwe's microfinance sector focused on inclusive finance to transform livelihoods. The focus since inception has been developmental; funding microenterprises, SMEs, Youths and smallholder farmers. The focus has been mainly on the unbanked and on women enterprises. The professionalism and unparralled excellent service culture at Inclusive Financial Services has seen the institution rapidly gaining acceptance in a market where microfinance was traditional perceived as focused on salary based lending and loan sharking. Inclusive Financial Services chose to be in the heart of its target market to increase reach, depth. Unlike many other players Inclusive Financial Services’ headquarters is not in the capital city thus resonating well with its inclusive finance focus. The institution has opened branches in almost all small towns and rural areas of the country. So far the branch network has grown to include Chiredzi, Masvingo, Gutu, Mutare, Gwanda, Bulawayo, Hwange, Zvishavane, Gweru, Kwekwe and Gokwe

    Our Achievements

    Achievements

Inclusive Financial Services model continues to gain momentum in the Zimbabwe Microfinance landscape. The institution has attracted developmental partners due to its developmental orientation who have helped significantly in its progress as a developmental institution. Inclusive Financial Services has become a hub for rural small holder funding with emphasis on agriculture value chains. Thus it has been supported by such institutions as Zimbabwe agricultural Development Trust (which is funded by UKAid and DFID). Inclusive Financial Services was the first microfinance institution to have such support in the country. Inclusive Financial Services was also supported by FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) as Inclusive is focused on implementing economic activities for small holder farmers, especially women. Inclusive Financial Services continues to support the small to medium enterprises and has become a household name among micro entrepreneurs. To this end it has been supported by its partnership with Zimbabwe Microfinance Fund (ZMF) and SOS. Inclusive Financial Services has also achieved a lot, being one of Zimbabwe’s key microfinance institutions that fund youths in entrepreneurship. The institution has successfully implemented such programs with the assistance of International Youth Foundation (an organization funded by USAID and other members). Inclusive Financial Services continues to explore ways of improving communities and welcoming like-minded organizations locally and internationally forging partnerships that increase reach, breath, scope and depth while lowering the cost to its intended market.
